PTRS regular meetings – 2nd Saturday, 11AM and 4th Thursday, 6 PM every month.

We always welcome newcomers to our club meetings even if you are a complete newcomer to 2-way radio. You don’t have to be a techno-geek to want to be able to use a radio in the event of an emergency and our goal is to help everyone in New Hampshire be able to call for help using their own radio in case all other means of communication are down.

At this meeting, we will cover:

Radio in the news
Introduction to radio for newbies
Explanation of PTRS’s plan to develop an emergency communications network covering all of New Hampshire
Short Wave Radio listening and selecting 1 or 2 radios to recommend to all out members
Proposals for new projects

Come join us at the Wearehouse, 445 S. Stark Highway in Weare. All members of the Wearehouse club are welcome and you can become a day member for $5. You’re welcome to bring a snack, pizza, sandwich and your beverages of choice. We have coffee, tea and water.
